IASSA cooperates with other organizations in order to enhance its own objectives of promoting Arctic social sciences. While IASSA maintains informal ties with many organizations, it has formal agreements with the International Arctic Science Committee (IASC)and University of the Arctic (UArctic), and the Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (APECS).
